Operator. Change agent. Problem solver. Forever curious. Book worm. Pretty okay athlete.
My philosophy
At the most basic level, companies are like orchestras. Every person and team has a very specific and important job to do that is instrumental to the company’s growth and success. Unfortunately, more often than not the growth we seek creates silos, and companies lose that orchestral collaboration, efficiency, their distinctive culture, and the ability to continue to successfully scale.
The greatest companies— the ones that employees love to work for that have a reputation for quality products or services, in addition to impressive margins—take as much friction and wasted time as possible out of work so that people can focus on what they’re great at: their jobs! They have executives and leaders that are aligned on where they need to go, and why. These companies are able to attract and retain top talent and customers, and adapt as they continue to grow.
It’s that simple. And it’s that hard. These are the problems I love to solve.
Why me? What is my unique offer?
The thing that differentiates me and my leadership approach is my broad experience paired with a healthy dose of competitive drive and empathy. My college degree is in design, I owned and operated a web design business for seven years, so I approach my work with an entrepreneurial mindset. I’ve spent most of my career working with Fortune 100 companies and their leaders on their technology and business strategies through execution. I’m used to operating in a nebulous “whitespace” where questions are the only thing that exist, and answers are waiting to be discovered— and I’ll find them. Since 2006, I’ve led projects, programs, and teams in the fields of Project Management, User Research, UX Design, Engineering, and Business Operations.
I hold an active PMP certification, as well as an Executive Coaching Certification from an ICF accredited program. These skill sets make me an invaluable resource to an organization and its leadership.
My well-rounded approach and experience has helped me to successfully:
Ruthlessly prioritize the most valuable initiatives, cutting through the noise
Help executive and delivery teams get aligned and effectively communicate
Maximize profit margins and productivity by improving business operations
Guide individuals and organizations to meaningful and measurable change
Successfully lead and deliver complex, strategic projects
Create user experiences that increase employee engagement and satisfaction

“Strategic decision-making is often about driving consensus through storytelling, research, and leading by example. Nicholette possesses expert acumen in all three of these areas. Her ability to facilitate strategic decision-making with an executive group is unparalleled. She strikes the ideal balance required when managing and driving programs with cross-functional business units.
I'd be lucky to have Nicholette on my team again. If you have an opportunity to work with her, you will learn something from her approach, no matter your tenure.”
